our first video post

This little film about insecurities brought up quite a few new ones as I put it together! A good experiment as we invite others to examine themselves. This particular video was excellent practice in two ways--first of course for me to feel comfortable in front of the camera--an important thing if I am going to ask others to do the same. Secondly it gave me the opportunity to give the camera over to someone else (Chris) and teach him some of the basic shooting skills we want to cover in our workshops.

Visual World

Everyone has a story. Every story has value. And in today's visual world, stories are communicated with more than just words.

Film to Tell is a project that teaches individuals the skills to create their own short personal video documentaries and gives them the space to show these films. It welcomes the experience of self discovery through the creative process. It brings people into a shared space.

This blog will serve as our launching place as we build a more comprehensive site. In the next couple of weeks look for our first few docs to be posted. We invite the World to share their stories. After all, everyone has a film to tell. Tell us.
